What is Chemical Flushing?

Chemical Flushing is our preferred and most recommended method. We circulate a powerful, non-acidic cleaning solution through your entire heating system (boiler, radiators, and pipework) to dissolve and remove sludge, rust, and debris. Once the system is clean, we add a premium corrosion inhibitor to protect it moving forward.

This gentler approach is ideal for most modern systems and carries the lowest risk to existing components.

What is Power Flushing?

Power Flushing uses a high-powered pump to force water and cleaning chemicals at high velocity through the system. This method is more aggressive and is typically used on older systems with very heavy sludge buildup.

⚠️ Important Powerflush Disclaimer

While we are happy to carry out a Powerflush when necessary, we strongly prefer and recommend Chemical Flushing for most systems because it is gentler and more effective for typical pipework.

If you choose a Powerflush, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer accepting liability for any pre-existing pipework, radiators, or components. The Gas King will only accept liability for any damage caused by our own workmanship.
